Step 2: Compliance phase

The Commission monitors that gatekeepers comply with the list of positive and negative obligations. The Commission can impose behavioral and structural remedies if a designated firm does not comply. The firm cannot prove objective justification

The DMA is still in the compliance phase. There have yet to be cases of non-compliance.
