This week, let’s talk about the French Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) case released today by the French Competition Authority. It is an interesting case at the intersection between competition law and data protection law. Besides, it raises the question of whether reducing information asymmetry and granting more power and information to users, as requested by the GDPR, can be considered as anti-competitive practice.
